What We Do

Rock Generation is a unique program which uses performance techniques to build self-esteem in children and teens. Performers develop leadership skills by sharing their strengths and uncovering their talents.  They have fun working as a team to create shows where everyone gets to shine.  The Rock Generation program will give a child confidence and skills for success by providing training in several areas. 

Correct vocal techniques are taught using fun exercises which are practical, methodical, and pedagogically sound. Children learn proper music terminology. 

Songs are selected especially for the child’s age and ability. Each show has special parts where children can sing alone, building confidence and a “CAN DO” attitude. 

Microphone techniques are learned through spoken narrations.  Proper public speaking techniques are practiced and training is given on how to add flair and personality to each part. 

Showmanship and self-esteem increase as children perform in front of family and friends.  When out in the community, Rock Generation performers exude confidence because they have proven to themselves over and over that they are valuable and talented.
